STANDARD OF VANTILATION

(1)    Quantitative Standard :-

(i)              Not less than 6m³/min of air per person employed in the district on the largest shift.

सबसे बड़ी शिफ्ट के प्रति व्यक्ति 6m³/min के हिसाब से दोनों में से जो अधिक हो, उतनी हवा उस डिस्ट्रिक्ट के आखिरी वेंटीलेशन कनेक्शन में, अर्थात् डिस्ट्रिक्ट की अंतिम गैलरी में जहां से हवा गुजरती है, बहे।

OR

(ii)            Not less than 2.5m³/min of air per tonne of daily output.

प्रति टन दैनिक उत्पादन पर 2.5m³/min के हिसाब से

Whichever is more in (i) or (ii), Passes along the Last Ventilation Connection. Which means the in-bye most gallery in the district.

दोनों में से जो अधिक हो, उतनी हवा उस डिस्ट्रिक्ट के आखिरी वेंटीलेशन कनेक्शन में, अर्थात् डिस्ट्रिक्ट की अंतिम गैलरी में जहां से हवा गुजरती है, बहे।

{LVC – Last Ventilation Connection}

Example :- 100 person employed in the district on the largest shift. & 300 tonnes of daily output. Whichever is more ?

Solution :-    Data Given : (i) 100 Person,

                      Per Person 6m³/min

                      100 x 6 = 600m³/min

       (ii) 300 tonnes,

                      Per Tonne 2.5m³/min

                      300 x 2.5 = 700m³/min

Ans :- (ii) 700m³/min 

(2)    Qualitative Standard :-

(a)    Oxygen (O₂) – not less than 19%

(b)    Carbon dioxide (CO₂) – not more than 0.5%

(c)     Inflammable Gases – not more than 0.75% in the general body of return air.

&

1.25% in any place in the mine.

(d)    Any noxious gas in quantity likely to affect the health of any person;

कोई भी हानिकारक गैस इतनी मात्रा में मौजूद न हो कि किसी व्यक्ति के स्वास्थ्य पर प्रभाव पड़े।

(e)    Wet Bulb (W.B.) temperature at any work place – not more than 33.5°C.

When, W.B. temperature exceeds – 30.5°C, speed of air current not less than 1m/sec.

किसी भी कार्यस्थल पर वेट बल्ब टेम्परेचर 33.5°C से अधिक नहीं होगा।

जहां 30.5°C से अधिक हो जाए, वहां ऐसी व्यवस्था की जाए कि हवा कम से 1m/sec. की गति से बहे।

Air samples and temperature readings be taken at least once in every 30 days.

प्रति  30 days में कम से कम एक बार हवा का सैंपल लिया जाएगा और तापमान नापा जाएगा।
